Financial Literacy

CARE, or Credit Abuse Resistance Education, is a free financial literacy program that provides resources to students, parents, educators and the general public to educate them on the dangers of credit abuse.

Each year, selected groups of students at EI Eastridge High School have the pleasure to meet with Judge John Ninfo to hear his message regarding personal finances and specifically credit card abuse.  Judge Ninfo created CARE (Credit Abuse Resistance Education) in 2002 to help educate young people on the benefits and dangers of personal finances.  To date, his powerful message has been heard by close to 500 EI Eastridge students.
